This class is designed for HVAC Technicians who are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of web based control systems. The course will be around 4.5 hours long. This course provides an introduction to Ethernet networking concepts, hardware, configurations, and troubleshooting for non-IT professionals. The courses covers the fundamentals of Ethernet-based networks, including system requirements, servers, wireless networks, and diagnostic and troubleshooting tools. Here is what you can expect by the end of this course:

Your Instructor
Ron Auvil has been in the HVAC Industry for over 37 years. Ron is Director of the Control Stop Training Institute based in Charlotte NC, and founder of High Performance Mechanical Training LLC, a training consultant firm. He provides HVAC and Control Systems Training to customers and distributors in the Southeast USA. In the past, he served in several roles for major controls manufacturers as a project manager, senior trouble shooter, and regional trainer. He is a proud graduate of West Side Institute of Technology in Cleveland Ohio.
Ron has over 30 years of experience in the classroom in a wide variety of roles and has taught everything from basic electricity and refrigeration to steam plant licensing and HVAC Controls. He has written a number of books for American Technical Publishers, including: * HVAC and Refrigeration Systems * IT for HVAC Technicians * HVAC Control Systems * Indoor Air Quality Solutions for Stationary Engineers. Ron also has written multiple articles for the HVAC News and is an ongoing technical contributor for Fluke Corporation. What he enjoys the most is spending time with technical staff on jobsites to effectively install, service, and use their mechanical and control systems. Some of his clients include the Pentagon, The University of South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Gulfstream Aircraft, Boeing, NASA, and many others.
